The difficult life of an english teacher in Japan. Work, work, work all the time. Never any chance to unwind, explore, or actually have a little fun. Ok, well sometimes, I manage to escape the monotous doldrums of the day to day and, just for a moment, see what Japan is really like. You guessed it--chopsticks and alcohol. P.S.-- "I've gone."

Sunset @ Dotombori

Spent the day meandering my way around Namba, Dotombori and Amerika Mura, window shopping and eating takoyaki (octopus balls, but not "balls"). Met my friend Kuruha at OCAT and headed off to Osaka Dome for some lessons in break dancing and mischief making. Missed the last train by 30 seconds and spent 3000 yen on a taxi ride home. I love the weekend.

Ah! the serenity of a sunset beautifully captured Stephen. A magical moment! Wish I was there!

Your photography is so beautiful! When you get back to the states I want to look through your pictures and blow up some for my apartment.

I love reading your blog...it's so much more interesting than my life. If I had a blog, it would go something like this: Got up. Went to work. Wrote some speeches. Had lunch with a reporter. Had meeting with the mayor and he made fun of me. After working 10 hours, went home, ate some random food and pretended it was dinner, played with Dobby, watched Sex & the City on the WB, went to sleep. Did the same thing every day this week. WAY too exciting, I know. :)

Love,
Sarah
